The fictional ‘Becky ETF’ impressively shows what happens when female consumer power is translated into figures: +1,079% in five years. That’s not a typo.

But while women are shaping markets and transforming entire industries, their money often remains unused in savings accounts. Why is that? And what can banks do to change it?

This article is about much more than numbers. It’s about attitude, opportunities and the responsibility of managers – including and especially male managers – to rethink financial education and truly reach female customers.

What is needed are formats that don’t smell like banking, but like life. ‘Du in Balance’ combines mindset, exercise and financial knowledge – without pointing fingers, but with tangible added value.
