Mental health is no longer a nice-to-have or a personal luxury. As managers, we have a special responsibility in this regard. In this keynote speech, we will explore why individual measures such as fruit baskets are not enough and how we can enable real change through our attitude, actions and the design of structures. We will highlight how leadership creates orientation and resilience, why prevention and early intervention are crucial, and how we can work together to establish a healthy work culture. Conny Dethloff examines the phenomenon of leadership from the perspective of sociological systems theory. While leadership is often mistakenly attributed to a single person, he focuses on the interaction and underlying processes between people. His reflections are based on many years of experience in leadership positions since 2008. From these insights, he derives his personal leadership principles and invites us to rethink leadership.

ist Geschäftsbereichsleiter bei msg for banking und Ansprechpartner für alle Kunden der Sparkassenfinanzgruppe. Mit seinem Team steht er für Software Engineering, Sustainable Banking, Process Data Technologies und Application Management Services. In verschiedenen Führungspositionen war er in den letzten Jahren unter anderem im Business Development sowie in Organisations- und Change Projekten zur Entwicklung resilienter Organisationen aktiv.

Susanne Gansweid

ist Abteilungsleiterin der msg for automotive und verantwortet die Practice Group Automotive Consulting Solutions. Mit ihrer Erfahrung als Personalreferentin in der IT-, Automotive- und Baubranche bringt sie fundiertes Wissen in der Führung und Entwicklung von Teams mit. Als systemische Beraterin (DGSF) und zertifizierte Mentale Ersthelferin (MHFA) engagiert sie sich für die Förderung psychischer Gesundheit am Arbeitsplatz. Ihr Fokus liegt auf der Stärkung individueller Ressourcen und dem Aufbau resilienter Arbeitskulturen – insbesondere in Zeiten des Wandels.

Conny Dethloff

ist diplomierter Mathematiker und seit 1999 in der Wirtschaft tätig – bis 2011 als Unternehmensberater bei PwC und IBM, und dann bis 2020 als Führungskraft im Bereich Business Intelligence bei OTTO. Von 2020 bis 2025 war er erneut als Berater aktiv, unter anderem bei borisgloger consulting und emergize. Ab Mai 2025 ist er nun in zwei Rollen aktiv: als Leiter Organisation bei der OstseeSparkasse Rostock sowie als geschäftsführender Gesellschafter von Ordo Novus, einer Beratung für Führung und Organisationsdesign. Seine Leidenschaft gilt dem Gestalten organisationaler Umwelten, in denen Menschen ihre Fähigkeiten nutzenstiftend einbringen können und wollen.

The Leadership MeetUps are aimed exclusively at managers of all hierarchies and from all specialist areas of savings banks and cooperative banks as well as data centres (Atruvia/FI), preferably „ambassadors“ from both financial groups.

How does the event registration work?

Are you already a registered user on Banking.Vision? Then all you have to do is log in and click on the registration button on the page of your chosen event. A registration form will open with your personal details already pre-filled. All you then have to do is enter your invoice details and click on ‘Send’. That's it. You are not yet registered as a user on Banking.Vision? Then please register. We only need a little information from you.

How do registration and login work?

When registering on Banking.Vision , we use ‘magic link’ technology. This means that you fill in the registration form (we only need a few details from you) and then receive a registration link from us. By clicking on it, you confirm that you wish to register. After your confirmation, you will receive a login link and that's it. This means you don't have to remember (another) password, which could be hacked under certain circumstances. The ‘Magic Link’ also ensures a secure and uncomplicated login thanks to multi-factor authentication, for which you only need to enter the e-mail address you used to register.

Is there a booking confirmation?

Yes, once you have made a binding registration for the event, you will receive a booking confirmation. In the run-up to the event, you will receive a further e-mail with important information for your event, such as the venue and programme (face-to-face event) or access data (online event).

What technology is used for online events?

Our online events usually take place with Microsoft Teams. You will receive an access link with a telephone dial-in option; it is not necessary to install the Microsoft Teams application.We would be pleased if you switch on your camera. Please check the following Microsoft Teams system requirements in good time before the start of the event and observe the following recommendations: Use a desktop PC or a notebook/laptop to participate in your online event.

Please use a headset with an integrated microphone. If participating on a notebook/laptop, we recommend using the integrated camera; if participating on a desktop PC, an external webcam is recommended. Would you like to be absolutely sure and test MS Teams in advance? No problem, simply contact events-banking@msg.group.

Cancellation of events

We reserve the right to cancel the event due to insufficient demand or number of participants. Cancellations at short notice are also possible for other important reasons for which we are not responsible, such as sudden illness of the speaker or force majeure. Participation fees already paid by you will of course be refunded. You will be informed immediately in the event of cancellation. Further liability and compensation claims arising from the cancellation or change to the event that do not relate to injury to life, limb or health are excluded, unless there is intent or gross negligence on our part. Please note that this also applies to hotel rooms and flight or train tickets booked by you.
